February 24, 2025

CHAFFEE COUNTY, CO, Feb. 2025VeroTouch, a leader in 3D-print construction and technology,
has completed Colorado’s first 3D-printed homes and secured up to $618,000 in funding from the
state’s Innovative Housing Incentive Program (IHIP) to expand its groundbreaking work.
VeroTouch provides design, engineering, construction, and consulting services, using automation
and robotics to modernize the industry.

“We are proud to accelerate innovation in housing to better address Colorado’s housing needs,”
said Governor Jared Polis. “The unveiling of the first 3D-printed homes in the state is a great
example of our state’s efforts to support new construction methods and create more housing now.”

The VeroVistas project in Buena Vista consists of two 1,100-square-foot energy-efficient homes
built by VeroTouch’s in-house team, utilizing proprietary construction technology methods.
Developed in partnership with South Main, the homes feature energy-efficient materials, mold
resistance, and A1 fire ratings. Local subcontractors assisted with mechanical and foundational
work. A select group of seven student interns worked on and off-site, honing their skills across
various disciplines, furthering VeroTouch’s mission to educate the next generation of innovators.

“The completion of VeroVistas and the IHIP grant support mark a turning point for housing
innovation,” said VeroTouch CEO Grant Hamel. “We’re not just improving homebuilding; we’re
transforming communities with resilient, energy-efficient design.”

The IHIP grant supports VeroTouch’s expansion to the 31-home Cleora development in Salida.
